Jeffrey Zeldman to be honored as first SXSW Interactive Hall of Fame inductee.
On Tuesday, March 13, 2012 the man dubbed the King of Web Standards by Business Week, will be the first ever inductee to the SXSW Interactive Festival Hall of Fame.
Considered a web pioneer, Jeffrey Zeldman is known for his foundational web standards text, "Designing With Web Standards 3rd Edition (w/ Ethan Marcotte)". His online magazine, A List Apart and the multi-day conference he co-hosts called An Event Apart "for people who make websites" keep him at the forefront of web design today. He is also the founder and executive creative director of Happy Cog™, a design agency with studios in New York, Philadelphia, and Austin.
